1. What Norviq is
Norviq is a software platform for journaling trades, tracking performance, viewing analytics, setting goals and habits, comparing results on leaderboards and discussing trading with other users. It also provides free tools such as a position size calculator.
Norviq is not a broker, exchange, investment firm, fund, portfolio manager or financial adviser, and it is not authorised or supervised as a financial services provider. It does not place, execute, modify or close trades, does not hold client funds, and does not provide copy trading, signals or managed accounts.
2. No financial, tax or legal advice
Norviq is a software and analytics platform. Nothing on Norviq — including statistics, dashboards, scores, rankings, calculator output, suggestions, achievements, community posts or any other content — is personalised financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument.
No content takes your financial situation, objectives, experience or risk tolerance into account. Seek independent, licensed advice before making financial, tax or legal decisions.
3. No guarantee of profits
Norviq makes no promise, projection or guarantee of profit, income, consistency or improvement. Using a journal or analytics tool does not make you profitable. Most retail traders lose money.
4. Historical performance
All performance figures shown on Norviq — your own statistics, other users' profiles and leaderboard rankings — are historical. Past performance is not indicative of, and does not guarantee, future results. Rankings reflect a limited measurement window and a specific metric, and should not be read as an endorsement of any trader, strategy, broker or prop firm.
5. Hypothetical, simulated and planned results
Any hypothetical, simulated, back-tested, projected or "what-if" figure — including goals, challenge targets, planned risk-reward and calculator projections — is hypothetical by nature. It is prepared with the benefit of hindsight, does not involve real financial risk, and cannot account for slippage, spread changes, requotes, liquidity, execution delay, emotion or market impact. Hypothetical results frequently differ sharply from actual results.
6. Trading involves substantial risk
Trading leveraged products such as CFDs, forex, futures and crypto carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some, all, or in some circumstances more than your deposited capital. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. See our full Risk Disclosure.
7. Your decisions are your own
You alone are responsible for every trading decision you make, for your risk management, for complying with the rules of your broker, exchange or prop firm, and for meeting any tax and legal obligations that apply to you. Norviq accepts no responsibility for trades placed or not placed, for failed prop-firm challenges, or for any resulting loss.
8. Calculators, analytics and data accuracy
The position size calculator and all analytics are tools, not authoritative sources. Their output depends on the inputs you provide — including contract size, pip value, balance and risk — and on the data present in your account. Always verify a calculated lot size and any figure that matters against your broker's own platform and contract specifications before acting on it.
Manually entered and imported data is not validated by us. Broker-synced data is updated only when a synchronisation runs, is provided as received from your broker via MetaApi, and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Metric definitions may change as we correct or improve them.
9. Verified data and leaderboards
A "verified" label means the data reached us through an automated broker synchronisation. It is not an audit, certification or endorsement, and Norviq does not guarantee that any displayed result is accurate, complete or free from manipulation.
10. Community and user-generated content
Posts, comments, screenshots and profile content are created by users, not by Norviq. We do not review, endorse or verify them. Treat any strategy, signal, broker referral or funding offer posted by another user with caution — never send money or credentials to another user.
11. Third-party services and outages
Norviq relies on third parties including brokers, MetaApi, Stripe and our hosting and database providers. Outages, API changes or errors at any of them can interrupt synchronisation, delay data or make the Service unavailable. Do not rely on Norviq as a real-time or sole source of information about your trading account.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Norviq is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its content. This disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Service, where the full limitation of liability is set out.
